Society: The Management
As a constituted Society, SABRE has a number of elected officers - collectively termed the management - who look after the Society and its website. They are elected in our annual elections in Spring each year. On this page, you can find out more about these people, what they do for you, and how you can get in touch with them.

President: Jonathan Winkler ('J N Winkler')
The President serves as a neutral figure, mainly to administer SABRE's elections and other votes and, if needed, adjudicate in disputes between members. Since the President runs elections, he or she cannot take part in them, and therefore each election must see a new President elected. The full list of the President's duties is in the Constitution.

Jonathan has been a member of SABRE since 2003, served as Site Manager from late 2006 until elected as President this year.

Jonathan's official e-mail addresses are president@sabre-roads.org.uk or jonathan@sabre-roads.org.uk.

Site Manager: Tony Frost ('Brenley Corner')
The Site Manager is responsible for the day to day running of the SABRE website and, in particular, discussion forums. This includes moderating the boards, welcoming new members and the promoting the discussion group. These tasks and others are shared with the Assistant Site Managers, though the Site Manager takes greater responsibility for them. The full list of the Site Manager's duties is in the Constitution.

Tony previously served a full term (2006-07), and also a short period between February 2008 & April 2008, as Assistant Site Manager. He has been a member of SABRE since April 2002 and has also served on SABRE Committee for a number of years.

You can contact the Site Management Team at forums@sabre-roads.org.uk. Tony's official e-mail address is brenley@sabre-roads.org.uk.

Matthew has been a member of SABRE since April 2004.

Besides sitting in on the chat room most evenings, they make sure the facility is up and running, promote its use, and from time to time may set up special events. The full list of the Chat Moderators' duties is in the Constitution.

Serena is probably best known for being SABRE's first female member! She also set up our IRC chat room and has looked after it ever since.
